2022
- 2
In February 2022 Mark and I did
Tullich
Hill and Beinn Bhreac .
2023 - 4
January 2023 saw Mark and I scale Beinn
Chaorach and Beinn A'Mhanaich
In April I took in four Donalds, one of which was a Fiona - Birkscairn
Hill/Dun
Rig in the Manor Hills
At the end of October I managed a day away to do Meall Mor at
Loch Katrine.
2024 - 11
so far
Managed a couple in January - Creag Each and Creag Ruadh - cold but good.
Attempted Beinn a Chapuill in February with Stuart, but the
river was too high. Later on that month I got up Uamh Bheag.
In March I found time to get to The Stob.
At the start of April I had hoped for decent weather to do Windlestraw
Law. Not too bad! Later in April I managed Cat Law and
Corwharn and squeezed in another at the end of the month - Culter Fell
in the Borders
On 31 July I got up to Glenfinnan for a wee walk up Glas Charn
before some Corbetts the next day.
In October, on the way to my Dad's I popped up Beinn Na
Srone Not really that exciting!
In November I pushed my bike up Creag Garbh
to make the most of a dry, sunny day.
And finally in December I did another single Donald - Hudderstone.
2025 - First Fiona of the year in January - Beinn
na Gainimh,
and second one in April - Meall Tairbh.
Managed a third - Gathersnow Hill (and Culter Fell again) with Mark
later in April, and in May Willie made his first appearance going up Sgurr na Ciche (The Pap of Glencoe)
The following week plans to do a second Corbett were scuppered by a road closure so I did another couple of Fiona's -Mheall Mor and Sgurr a Choise instead.
And then in December I got out and up Creag na h-Eararuidh and later on Hill of Wirren
2026 - Again I managed to get one done in January - pleasant walk up Fiarach

Definitions:
So if I have this right, Docharty did a similar book to the Munros, but
didn't publish it in the SMC Journal so he is forgotten. Donald
published a list of all Scottish Lowlands hills over 2,000 feet with at
least a 150 foot drop. Any
of those hills over 2,000 but under 2,500ft (or more accurately now 600
to 762m, hence the addition of 12) will be included here, as they all
have 150m drop. Alan
Dawson did a list of all hills in the UK with a 150m drop and called
them Marilyns, so all the hills below will also be Marylins, though not
all Munros are as some don't have the drop!
But to our tale - in 1992 Fiona Torbett (nee Graham) published a list
of 2,000-2,500ft hills covering the Highlands of Scotland, which was
later extended by Fiona and Mr. Dawson to cover all of the country, and
with a few tweaks and metrification that is the list I am working
with. They were originally labelled Elsies (Lower Corbetts, or
LC's),
then Grahams following publication of Fiona's list, and now
Fionas. It
seems that Dawson has claimed trademark on the term "Grahams"!
Got it
all straight now?
And Donalds are all lowland hills over 2000 feet.
