Main Title here
After my day up Stob Dubh I had to come out of Glen Etive as the road was closed going further down, so I came up with these two hills as an alternative, having been across the road from them last week. |
![]() But first a snap of the Pap of Glencoe, the Aonach Eagach Ridge, and Bidean Nam Bain/Glencoe |
![]() Heading up the road looking to Meall Lighiche which I lost all my pictures of. |
![]() Then a brutal ascent, realised afterwards that most people come down rather than up this! Still Glencoe looking amazing |
![]() As was the Pap of Glencoe and the ridge |
![]() Get a good bit of height quickly on a steep ascent. |
![]() View across to Sgur na h Ulaidh |
![]() More Glencoe |
![]() Surely that isn't the top, after all this hard work? |
![]() It was. Hard work mostly done. |
![]() View down Loch Leven |
![]() Second peak just poking out on the left. That big ridge is Beinn a Bheithir - Sgorr Dhonuill and Sgorr Dhearg |
![]() Can see the ridge of Sgurr a Choice now. |
![]() No need to go along all of it, just head for the bealach |
![]() Sgur na h Ulaidh |
![]() And the last bit of ascent. It was nice and rocky up there. |
![]() Made it. Beinn a Bheithir - Sgorr Dhonuill and Sgorr Dhearg slightly closer |
![]() Summit ridge |
![]() Off to the South West |
![]() View back to Meal Mor and the Aonach Eagach |
![]() Pap of Glencoe etc. Mamores in the background |
![]() The way home |
![]() Weather getting slightly less bright |
