Hills. The Munros are all done, so how about some Corbetts and cycling and distilleries?

Previously - 19 2016 - 26 2017 - 17 2018 - 16, so slowing down! On 4th January I was so fed up with the weather I headed up to the East Cairngorms and had a stroll up Morven. On 6th January four of us headed up Beinn Luibhean for some more winter walking. Great day. Nothing in February, but in March Megan and I went up Geal-charn Mor. Over the Easter Weekend Euan, Mark, Stuart and I had a bothy and camping expedition to Islay - recommneded. And the following weekend I got out again, for a wander up Carn an Fhreiceadain. At the end of April I revisited Stob a'Choin and managed to get to the top this time. In May Sharon did the West Highland Way, so I headed up to Glenfinnan to do Sgurr an Utha, overnight, then head up Streap - a long walk 27th and 28th May I managed to get up to Deeside for a nice walk up Carn na Drochaide and Sgor Mor In mid-June I managed to pick the worst weather for six weeks to do the Rum Cuillins. First of July, stonking weather, headed up Beinn Udlaidh and Beinn Bhreac-liath. On Glasgow Fair Weekend I was busy on the Saturday, but got away the Sunday/Monday to do Carn Liath, Culdaroch and Conachraig. No hills in August, September, October, November or December - what is going on. Just one failed attempt on BeinnOdhar Beag. Did manage a cycling tour of Islay in September though. |

All the Corbetts I have done :- |
||||
|---|---|---|---|---|
| According to Mark's 1996 book there were 219 Corbetts, but I know Beinn a' Chlaidheimh was downgraded from a Munro in 2012 (after I had scaled it), and Sgurr nan Ceannaichean was downgraded in 2009 (one I still need to do). Wikipedia, Steven Fallon, Munro Magic and I therefore all agree 221 is the total number I have to do. | ||||
