Sgor na h-Ulaidh - 6 July 2003.

The Rocky Peak of Treasure (it says here).

One or two have full resolution pictures behind, just click on the pic

Surely the weather is going to improve?

This looks like the way - see that cloud up there, that's where we are off to.

Heading up the Allt na Muidhe, Sgor na h-Ulaidh hidden in the mist ahead.

Still misty up there, as we turn East up the slopes of Stob an Fhuarain.

Quick, there is the top.  Click for a fuller view of the hill and the valley we have just ascended.

Looking back down towards Allt na Muidhe, with Beinn a' Bheithir in the background.  It was rainy when we were up there too!

Sitting just below the ridge, during a nice clear moment.

Someone else's nice picture of the hill, from the top of Stob an Fhuarian which we skirted round

And on a clear day Sgor na h-Ulaidh looks like this, from the shoulder of Stob an Fhuarian.

On Sunday it looked like this at the top.

Having fun yet?

But the view made it all worthwhile...

After descending over Corr na Beinne we got this lovely view of the hill, still shrouded in the mist, and rain..

And looking down to the Glenetive Forest, only another three miles to the car. Beinn Fhionnlaidh on the right.
