Creag Mhor and Beinn Heasgarnich.  Fantastic stuff.

Pictures do not do this justice, like pictures of the Grand Canyon.  You should have been there.  Wow.

I thought this was our hill, but later realised this is the back of Ben Challum.

And to the left of Challum is Meall Glas.  Yes it was a "spot the hill" day.

And look, it's Meall Ghaordaidh.

Only another few miles till we start ascending the ridge at the back, up Creag Mhor.  The ridge we can see is called Sron nan Eun apparently.

Up we go.  That's some hills in the background.

Stuart leads the way across the icy snow field.

Nearly on top of the ridge, and there is Creag Mhor on the left, and our next hill, Beinn Heasgarnich on the right.  Looks like a long way!

Sgiath Cuill and Meall Glas again.

Hills

This climbing up hills never gets any easier, they are all too damn high!  And not even.

The top.  Craigh Mhor is ours.  And up to this point we had not met a sole,

and only seen two sets of footprints.

Brrrrrrrrr.

Well it looked good on top of the hill.  Icy or what?

On top of the world, enjoying the view.

Last view of the cairn, before we negotiated the icy descent, in the shadow of the hill, and passed loads of people.

And there is Creag Mhor on the left, with the ice fields just to the right in the shade.  We had lunch over there somewhere.

Another pic of Creag Mhor, with Ben Challum behind on the left.  Magnificent.

Loch Lyon, with Beinn a Chreachain behind.  And Stuart on the right!

Did I mention the views?  From the ascent of Beinn Heasgarnich looking South, to loads of hills, including Challum on the right, Ben More in the middle somewhere, and Meall Glas and others.  At this point I lost Stuart, but was enjoying the views.

Enjoying the views.

Pushing on for the final Munro.  That is the first one in the background

Yet more snowy hills (actually mostly the same ones from another angle).

Top of Beinn Heasgarnich, looking to the Lawers range perhaps?

And then we went home.  A great day, a long walk, but worth every minute.

No pictures of the skiers, or Stuchd an Lochain, though we saw both.  Actually Stuchd an Lochain should be in there somewhere but I am to tired now to find it.
