Sgurr Mhic Bharraich

(Peak of the Son of Maurice)

With a few days staying in Glenelg I found time for a couple of Corbetts.  This one was first on the Friday.

Set off from Sheil Bridge campsite - good track a lot of the way up.  Think that's Sgurr an Airgrid, the Corbett I did on the Sunday over there.

Heading up the track, before the beleach where the track heads off to the Glenelg side.  Cracking view of the Five Sisters behind the A'Mhuing ridge and Biod ah Fhithich, which is just a lowly hill.

From the top of the climb up from the bealach (I think) I could see all these hills!  Not really sure which way I was looking or what hills these are!  I think it's Beinn Sgrithheall on the right,
or it might be the Saddle?  Either way I can't work out what the ones on the left are!

Pretty sure that's the Five Sisters - that one was easier.

Summit Cairn, with the head of Loch Duich and a view up Strath Croe

To the left, the Black Cullin, and I could just make out the Rum Cullin though the camera missed them.

Vindicated - that was Beinn Sgritheal in the picture above, as here it is again, with the Corbetts Beinn nan Caorach and Beinn na h-Eglise to the left

Took a stroll over to the other side for a better view down Glen More to Glenelg, with Skye opposite.  I think it's longer walk than it looks here, so I opted to go back to the car in Glen Shiel

Loch Duich

Heading back down the direct (steep) route, avoiding cliffs.  Great day out, then back to the brewery in Glenelg.  On the Sunday I did another.
