Beinn nan Caorach and Beinn na h-Eglise

Hill of the Mountain Ash, and Church Hill on the Arnisdale peninsula - Great weekend all round.

Great way to start off - brewery pub.

Then off for some historic culture

Then we headed down to Corran for the night.

What a lovely spot.  Looking to Knoydart

And tomorrow's second hill in the clouds

Not the most promising morning, but it was dry.

First hill almost peaking out behind our second hill on the left, with Beinn Sgritheall behind.

The facilities.  V Good, though no shower.

Leaving the floor of the glen.

First hill, Beinn nan Caorach ahead.  Steep path but got us up easily enough.  Roaring stags on the left, somewhere!

There was a brief shower.

Eas na Cuingid watefall - it was more impressive than the picture does justice to.

Opted for the supposedly easier trek up the glen then back along the ridge, though the going was still pretty steep.

Starting the ridge climb.  Sgurr na Sgine and The Saddle behind on the left

Could still see the van from here.

Upper Gleann Beag

Coire Chorsalain that we came up.

Top of Beinn nan Caorach, with Beinn an h-Eaglaish behind, and Sgritheall in the mist.

As we came off Beinn nan Caorach it cleared a bit, which made the next hill look steeper!

Salisbury Plain perhaps?'

Views not quite as good as the day progressed.

Yet another higher bit coming out of the mist.

And here we are - makes it all worthwhile.

Heading down

And the clouds lifted.

Van packed, time to head off.

Moyle Park Campsite - not very busy!

But pretty nice.

As was the Glen Elg Inn.  We decided against cycling down though.

Back to camp, and setup for the night.

A tasty selection.
And then home - great couple of days.  I could get used to that van life!
