Beinn Odhar Bheag and Beinn Mhic Cedidh.

Little Dun Coloured Mountain, and MacCedidh's Mountain.  Day two of my trip - first bit here

Day Two - A couple of Corbetts.  Had hoped to do more but late car delivery yesterday put me back, and poor weather forecast/hard to find campsites meant this was the last day.  A cracker.

Last night's resting place.  Lovely if a little midgie!

All packed up, no trace left, and time to go.  Had meant to get going a little earlier but... quarter past ten left plenty of time.

In case I need to find that spot again, this was the layby.  And did I mention my new car, just got it yesterday.

As the Harry Potter train was going up to Mallaig the area around Glenfinnan was hotching, and most laybys full.  Thankfully the view from my starting point wasn't that great so I got parked.

Keeping an eye out for the train.  And spotting all the train-spotters.

And here it comes.  Click this link for a boring video of it.

Made it to the ridge, with a view of the final hill in the background.  That is the ridge I come back down later.

Looking west to Loch Eilt and the sea.

Beinn Mhic Ceididh still a bit cloudy.

And Beinn Odhar Mhor also in the mist.

Before heading into the cloud.

Top of Beinn Odhar Mhor, which is lower than Bheag so doesn't count.

Cracking views from the top!

Just come up that way.

Beinn Odhar Beag also still under a cloud

And there is Beinn Mhic Ceididh, looking a little clearer.  Still a fair way to go.

A panorama of a similar view to the last two.

Quite steep down to Loch Shiel.

Cloud lifting a little.  Nice rocky landscape.

Finally my final hill is cloud free.

And less cloud up here too.

View back to Mhor which is also now cloud free.

Hill three again.   With Sgurr na Ba Glaise, Rois-Bheinn and An Stac in the background.  Another good day out.

Looking down Loch Shiel

And up Loch Shiel to Glenfinnan

Finally, a Corbett summit.

I don't think Loch Shiel bends like that!

Back to Mhor

And there is the final Corbett.  Further than it looks of course.

And the two other hills in one pic, with Coire Bhuidhe between.

Looking steeper with every step.

Last summit finally in sight.

Looking back to the Beinn Odhar's.

The summit, looking to Sgurr na Ba Glaise, Rois-Bheinn and An Stac

Shoulder of Mhor that I went up earlier.  With no cloud on the summit.

Summit, looking back to the other two.

And the ridge of descent.  Still a fair way to go.

Bye summit.

Cliffs I managed to avoid.

Beag

Looking back to the last summit

Mor and Beag

Three good hills.  But time to go home.

Back down to the greener lowlands, and the track back to the car.
