Drove up to the start point the next morning - at Lochailot
An interesting path onto the hill.
Got clear of the woods, and onto a good track for a bit
First sight of Sgurr na Ba Blaise (Peak of the Grey Cow) up ahead, and An Stac on the right. Path was so good I missed my turning and had to ford the river and breenge up the hillside.
Weather looking less promising.
It was a slog up, so good to stop and take pictures now and then.
Top of something. After bumping into the ghillie out deer stalking, who was not impressed that I was on his hill.

Coire Reidh - lots of stags there, Mr Ghillie!
Still just An Stac really visible, as I headed South down the Druim Fiaclach ridge - not all it was cracked up to be. The first two corbetts in the clouds.

First look back at Druim Fiachlach.
Clouds lifting a bit at last. Ros Bheinn now visible, if a long way off!
An Stac, again! With Rum to the left, and Skye to the right. The going was a good bit easier now, apart from the two more big ascents to come.
Another look back at the ridge.
Finally, I can see all three corbetts. After just 5 miles and about 2800 feet of ascent!
View south west into Moidart.
Ever hopeful that that is the first summit?
And this is when I am fairly sure I saw a white tailed sea eagle circling down there. The circle on the left. Honest.
I was convinced, the camera never lies. Not easy to take a good picture at that range.
Back to the hills. Looking back along the long ridge I have just traversed.
Top of Sgurr na Ba Glaise. With Rois Bheinn behind. Looks a doddle from here!

So off to Rois Bheinn (Mountain of Showers!)
And here we are on the top of Rois Bheinn, so onto An Stac (The Stack) next. Beinn Coire nan Gail and Drum Fiaclach on the right, my first tops of the day.
Bugger, another top. But I checked the map and the app, and that is not the top, this is. Nice view of Rum.
Summit cairn (not very impressive) and An Stac etc.. Beginning to wish I hadn't committed to the third one now, but the ghillie might shoot me if I head down the glen!
Always good to look back at where you have been.
On the way down I got a nice view of Loch Ailort and the Sound of Arisaig.
Looking back to Rois Bheinn. I did do the highest bit.
And there is Sgurr na Ba Glaise. A fine wee outing.
