Sguman Coinntich and Faochaig

2 mile cycle, then 14 miles of hill, before returning to camp.  Great.

Not a bad start to the day.

Cycled a couple of miles down the glen and left the bike at the bottom of the path I hoped to come down.

Glorious morning.

The 3 mile walk to Killian seemed a lot longer, but finally I got off the road, and found the track.

Good path up beside the Alt a' Choire Mhor

Looking west to Loch Long

Sguman Coinntich on the right.

After the wee scrambly bit I got onto the final ridge.

Great view of hills.  Lots of them.

And just this to go.

Good signal at the top.  But I missed the feral goats.

Summit in sight

Isn't this more fun than a pint in a pub?

The top.  Loch Long and Skye over there.

Ascent track down below.

Unfortunately I had to go over Sron na Gaoithe before getting to Faochaig.

Sguman Coinntich looks different from this angle.

Faochaig still some distance away.

But I made it.  Looking back to Sguman Coinntich again.

Think that is yesterday's hill over there.

So many hills up here

Again this morning's hill, with Skye etc. behind

Again this morning's hill.

Distant hills

Good track heading back to the bike.

Just been up there, somewhere.

And back to base.  Tranquility.
