Meall nan Eun (twice) and Stob Coir'an Albannaich
FCT team with Ben Starav behind |
Walking up Glen Ceitlein

Heading towards Meall Odhar (the wrong hill) |
Quick toilet stop - looking back down Glen Ceitlein
And a more recent look back down Glen Ceitlien |

![]() Looking up to our second hill, Stob Coir'an Albannaich |
Time for elevenses. |

The next ascent, from the top of
Coire nan Cmamh to |

and looking South West to Beinn nan Aighenan on the left, then Glas Bheinn Mhor. Just peeking through the gap is Ben Starav, and on the right Stob Coir an Albannaich |
The view North West up the Glen Ceitlein which we have just slogged up in the rain |
Just to go up there now, the Stob Coir'an Albannaich |
FCT team beat a retreat as one of the party was suffering rather. |
Looking back at Meall nan Eun |
North from the bottom of Meall Tarsuinn. |
One final clamber to the top of the ridge |
And the top. Makes it all worthwhile. Meall nan Eun on the left, with Stob Ghabhar in the distance, Loch Dochard in the middle and some other bits on the right |
And from the top looking South West to Beinn nan Aighenan on the left, then Glas Bheinn Mhor, and Ben Starav on the right. They don't all look the same once you've climbed them. |

| So here is the same picture with
Beinn Chaorach tagged onto the right hand side, 'cos we did
that one too
Stob Coir'an Albannaich from Beinn Chaorach. Just been up there. |
The quick way down. |
And the welcome sight of Glen Etive, nearly home. Horrendous descent through grass and fern forest not pictured. Nor is the flat tyre I had, or the 50 mile forced detour home through Aberfeldy. Still a fine day. And Beinn Sgulaird taunting us in the distance - another day! |
