Sgorr nan Lochan Uaine and Sgurr Dubh

Peak of the Little Green Loch, and Black Peak - fine hills indeed
After a day up Beinn Damh I had a wee hike part way up the path to find a spot to camp for the night before tackling these hills.  Went a little further than planned, but that was fine.  Had hoped for a second night out in the tent, but the midgies made it too unpleasant!

Leaving the Coire Dubh Mor car park, once I had found the right path.  Liathach behind, looking a little cloudy.

Pitched and getting attacked by the midge.  Not quite as wet as last week's campsite.

The next morning the view looked much the same.

This is not the recommended route, I followed a really good path for too long!

A bit cloudier than I had hoped, but a good path to follow.

Think that's Beinn Laith Mhor sticking up there?

The path to Beinn Laith Mhor was so good I nearly went up the wrong hill, and had to contour back a mile or so to get back on track.

Heading up the right hill, if from the wrong angle.

The way I probably should have come, looking out to Upper Loch Torridon

Yesterday's hill in the middle.  And Lochan Uaine now below me - not looking that green to be honest.

Not much at the top

And not much of a view from the top either.

And that's where I am off to next - Sgurr Dubh.  Interesting rocky landscape up here.

Looking back to Sgorr nan Lochan Uaine

The easy way up.

Summit is up there somewhere.

Another look back to the last hill

Wee lochan on the final leg.

Made it.  Last hill now under a touch of cloud on the left, and looking a long way off!   Yesterday's hill in the middle in the distance, Upper Loch Torridon on the right.  Time to relax and take it all in.

Retracing my steps back down a bit.

Pretty butterfly - there were loads of these around.

Farewell hills.

Very tame stag at the car park, so I had to take a picture, it insisted.
