Carn Dearg Mor

Second hill for the day - Big Red Cairn
So after a walk up Geall Charn I drove round to Auchlean in Glen Feshie, cycled 7 miles into the hills (well pushed a good bit to be honest) and pitched the tent, then nipped up Carn Dearg Mor before tea.  Busy day.

From the bridge just South of Auchlean, looking back to the start.

And looking south.  Hadn't realised you could get onto the road at this point, so had a difficult mile or so cyclying through the grassy bit!

And to the South East Mullach Clach a'Bhlair under the clouds.

Back on the road the going was much better.  My hills are to the right of the one shown here, up a steep path.

Leaving the nice flat glen, heading up towards Lochan an-t-Stuie.

Not the most fun cycle, but the way back was great.

Round every corner, more uphill.

Finally reached the top, and paused to take a picture of Carn Dearg Mor, before continuing round the track to find a campsite

Spot located, next to a wee burn, and nearly flat.

From the campiste it was just over 2 miles to the summit, so headed back down the track on the bike and up the hill.

Part way up Carn Dearg Mor, looking over the the track back to camp, round the bend in the middle.  Tomorrow's hill on the right hand side.

Good path up most of this (and they were building a new bit while I was there).

Second summit for the day reached.

Views not exactly stunning unfortunately.  And the Big Red Cairn was not that big or red!

Campsite straight ahead.

Nice wee spot.

My slice of heaven for the night.

And looking the other way.  I think that's tomorrow's hill on the left and Mullach Coire nan Dearcag, a subsidiary top on the right.  But I could be wrong!

Bliss.  Strong drink may already have been taken!

Beer was a bit sweet and fruity, but went down easily enough

Newest pride and joy - inflatable pillow.  Comfy too.

Time for bed.
Next day I headed up Leathad an Taobhain to round out my trip.
