Mullach Clach a Bhlair
Leaving the car park, the road to Auchlean. We are going up that corrie in front. |
Off the beaten track |
Coire Garbhlach, this corrie was our route up the hill. |
What a lovely morning for it too. |
Looking up the Coire (obviously!) |
And looking back down from above the waterfall. |
The Corrie opened out towards the top. Fionhar Choire on the left. |
What a cracking day indeed. |
Half way up the climb out at the top of the coire |
|
Nearly up top |
|
Looking all the way back down Coire Garbhiach from the start of the Moine Mhor |
|
And I beleive this is the Moine Mhor, with Braeriach(?) at the back. |
|
Name those hills? I think Sgoran Gaoith is the sticky up bit mid-left, then to the right Einich Cairn, Breariach and all those ones! The bit where Mark is is definitely the top of Mullach Clach a Bhlair though, for sure.
To the West lies Creag Meagaidh and Monadhliath Mountains, but from this distance it is hard to name anyone in particular. |
And to the South, even more hills - Glen Shee perhaps? |
The easy route down. |
|
Another view of Coire Garbhiach, the one we walked up |
|
Coire Garbhiach on the left, Mullach Clach a Bhlair on the right. From the top of Meall nan Sleac. |
|
Coire Garbhiach again, as we cross back over Alt Garbhiach. Must be getting tired as Mark seems to have split. |
|
A wood |
Last view of Meall nan Sleac and the corrie. |
