Carn Dearg, Carn Sgulian and A'Chailleach again

Smells like a foot

Civilized start time, heading up Glen Banchor

Then up the Allt Fionndeig.

Making good progress.  Looking back down the track

The way forward.

Leaving the first track

And there she blows - Carn Dearg is up there in the mist

Looking back down Gleann Ballach.  Our first hill is on the right.

After hill one we head off round that ridge to hill 2 which is at least 5km away over there

Carn Dearg.

Farewell mountain top

And to the West, Geal Charn

Yomping round the ridge - only 5k?  Carn Dearg back in the mist.

We were not alone.  Plenty of Ptarmigan up here.

Well that might be the top of Carn Sgulian?

Another look back to where we have come from, along the fence line.

Is this the top then?  Not overly impressive, but Carn Sgulian is conquered

The haul up A'Chailleach seemed a better option than the cliffs.

Where were you on Saturday?  We have climbed Carn Dearg over on the left, enjoyed a stroll around the ridge to highest point on the right (Carn Sgulian), then up A'Chailleach.  No wonder we are knackered?

The cairn on A'Chailleach.  A lot better than the last time

More wildlife.

All downhill now

The bothy at the foot of A'Chailleach.

Bridge over Altt a'Chailleach

Last look at A'Chailleach

And home for a well deserved drink or two.
