Sgor Gaoith, our second Cairngorm

Much better than expected, hope this keeps up

Car park at the foot of Alt Ruraidh

Once we got on the right path we were off

And there is the wrong path down there, looks much easier.

The next path we missed down on the left, with Carn Ban Mor and Carn Ban Beag behind

Steep climb onto Geal Charn.

Looking back down to where we were

This is more like it, flattening out

The way ahead, up to Meal Bhuide which is no longer a munro.

A cairn, but not an important one

Coming up Meal Bhuide's top, Geal Charn behind.

Along the top to Sgoran Dubh Mor (another one that isn't a munro)

Looking North from the top of Sgoran Dubh Mor

And to the West, the hills we have just come over

And South, to our target, Sgor Gaoith

Seems to be getting further away!

Loch Eanaich

View back up to Sgoran Dubh Mor

And this impressive cairn marks the top

Impressed ?

Now that is a bit better.

And back down the Allt a Chrom-alltain that we meant to go up.

And that is that, another hill ticked off, and a good day out nearly done.  If only the pub had been open!
