Meall Greigh, Meall Garbh and An Stuc, the hills behind Ben Lawers

About 14 miles, three munros, and still made it home by 5.30pm just.  What a day!

The morning.

Hills from the car park

Leaving Loch Tay below us.

Which way?

Right?

Took it in turns to stop and change clothes as usual.

Crossing the Lawers Burn.  Meal Garbh in the mist behind.

An Stuc in the mist behind!

Loch Tay in the morning sunshine.

The top of Meall Greigh, in the mist.

Back to the ridge to collect out bags.  Loch Tay in the background.

And now up Meall Garbh.

Looking back to Meall Greigh.  It's a long way to the top, as they say.

I was desperately hoping that was the top.  It wasn't!

Possibly the top...

Hang on, there's another top.  Let's go.

Possibly the top....

And off we go.

View down Fin Glen, as the mist swirled around.

The descent from Meall Garbh.

An Stuc makes it's presence known.

Lunch.

An Stuc taunts us again.

Ascent of An Stuc.  This was steep and dodgy, and my knee was giving into the pain rapidly.

Steep going

A view of Locan nan Cat and Loch Tay.

Told you this was steep, didn't I?

And the top of An Stuc, our third conquest for the day.  And the wind blew.

Time for a snack.

On the way down we got some more views of Lochan nan Cat, with Meall Griegh, our first hill in the distance.

Unfortunately we were standing like girls when Stuart took this one!

Loch Tay

Lochan nan Cat

And the long walk out along the track, overlooking Loch Tay.  Seemed to go on for miles.  Well it did go on for miles.
