Meall a'Bhuachaille and traverse of the ridge

Happy New Year.  Wet and windy, just fantastic

An Lochan Uaine - the green loch, where the fairies wash their clothes.

Ryvoan bothy, and some reindeer.

Path up the hill from the bothy

Spotted a Kestrel looking for some lunch.

Nearing the top of the major ascent from Ryvoan, with Bynack More in the distance.

And then we were at the top of the hill.  Just cold and windy, and a little wet, so lovely conditions.

Going up Creagan Gorm, with Meall a'Bhuachaile behind.

Top two - Creagan Gorm.  And the rain has stopped.

And on we go, heading for Craiggowrie.

And then it was all downhill, heading for the Glenmore Forest, and trudge back to the bus.

And an arty picture of a tree and the light bouncing off the clouds.  A great day out, thanks to Craig for staying awake, driving and all the rest.

Finally what the computer says.  Not sure how we ended up higher than we started, but you get the picture!
