An Cliseam (Rocky Hill)

Off the beaten track (mostly).  Nice way to do it.

Roughly the route I followed. Simples.

Sharon departs, off to see the eagles.  Told you it was a rocky hill!

The way forward.  Looking up Mulla Dho Dheas.  Apparently not enough descent between this and An Cliseam so it doesn't count as a Corbett.

Looking back across Loch A Siar / West Loch Tarbert to the headland north of Losgantir.

An Cliseam not quite coming into sight, under the cloud on the right.

Thankfully the clag is lifting, and the ridge looks okay.

That view south again.  Taransay on the right.

Top of Mulla Dho Dheas, looking north up Loch Langabhat (the biggest freshwater loch on Lewis. It is over 7 miles long and at the head of the Grimersta system) I think.

And An Cliseam still not overly inviting!

And South.

The north ridge to Mullach an Langa

Looking a little more hopeful.

Rocks

Looking back up Mulla bho Dheas.  Was quite rocky.

And the final rise to An Cliseam

Made it.  Took a few pics at the (quite large) summit.  And missed most of the people out of them.

View back to Mulla bho Dheas again.

Great views for once.

Ridge I came along, and some tourists!

And the route back down to the road.  Still impressive at this point

And to the south west - South Harris, Taransay, and my first hill on the right

Descending, views to the north again.

And to the south, back to where I started.

And to the East, the road, and the end.  Enjoyed this one.
