Beinn a Bha'ach Ard - Hill of the High Byre

Now this one was worth the effort.

Cloudy start to the day, but ever-hopeful.

For a bit I thought that was where I was going - wrong.

Good tracks on the way in, if a bit boring.

But made for good progress.

Glimmer of sunshine - time to hit the hill.

Distant deer - saw no-one else up here.

Bit of a fogbow, but not for long.

As I arrived on the shoulder of the hill I came out of the clouds - fantastic.

Explains why it was so dull lower down.

Looked even better from the summit.

This is why I do this.

Summit, with Sgurr a' Phollain behind.  Time for some walking in sunshine.

From further along the ridge looking back

Had to keep taking the pictures.

Second summit, but as there hadn't been 500 foot drop from the first one this is not a Corbett.

Reluctant to commit to the mist again

Final look around above the clouds

Another fogbow

Quite impressive.

And back into the mist and frost.

Pity I only got to the sign as I was coming off the hill!
