A'Bhuideanach Bheag & Carn na Caim - 16 November 2003.
An easy one, if not the most exciting
Start of the quarry road. |
Much harder than in looks. Aren't they all! Top of Loch Ericht just visible. |
Rather splendid pic from Stuart (bigger one if you click on it) |
I can see the Dalwhinne distillery from here. |
You sure we don't go up any further? |
Mountain top moor pictured. There was a lot of it. |
Must be the summit, there's a big stone. |
Bigger picture much clearer, not sure why Stuarts pic loses clarity when reduced in size. |
The top of this hill appears to be at the lowest point on the moor! Maybe it was the whisky. |
Moor. |
We did see some real hills in the distance, over the moor. |

The second munro of the day, if you call a lump of rock on a moor a munro! |
About to descend. |
Off the moor at last. Not quite the shortcut intended, but there were loads of hares.

And back to the car. The start of Geal-Charn on the left. Roll on next time.
Thanks to Stuart for the lighter and bigger pictures. I must invest in a new camera soon, Santa? | |
