A'Chailleach (leave the rest for another day).

No views, and a tedious plodding walk following footprints in the snow, but let's go again.

After a relaxing meal and a shandy, some theraputic spill rolling before bed.

Setting off from the road end, just outside Newtonmore.  Looking West,  back up Glen Banchor.

Off we go up the track.  So far so good.

Some miles later we found the bothy we had contemplated spending last night in.  Good decision not to, as I doubt we would have found it in the dark!

Do we really have to go up there?

Leaving the bothy behind we set off up the Alt a'Chaorainn, following someone's footsteps through the snow.

Bothy getting smaller.

The footsteps, before they stopped and turned back.

Pushing on, we made our own footsteps.  Stunning part of the world.

Is that the top, or just a snowman?

Definitely the top, no more up to go.

Heading back down, one munro was enough for today
